Here are some images of production companies logos, including some famous lgos like Warner Bros. Pictures and Pixar, it's suprising how much a logo helps, just by seeing the logo is a way of promoting the film and drawing in an audience.
Here is "The Weinstein Company" logo, in some ways our logo is simular to this as it also uses triangles in the logo, looking at the weinstein company we can see what sort of films they produce based on the monchrone colours used in the picture, this logo will inspire me to change our logo's colours to suggest a darker film rather than the bright pink and blue that suggests a teenage film.
