Week 10

This week we did all the filming and put it on iMovie ready to edit next week.

Thriller Opening Sequence Script.

SCENE 1:
OVS/POV Shot of Jake looking at Stevie’s house.
 
CUT EDIT- Inside Stevie’s house, Stevie’s watching tv/doing homework, unaware of Jake.

SCENE 2:
PAN of Jake walking towards Stevie’s house.
Jake tapes window three times.
Stevie looks, nobody there.
Stevie gets up and opens the door to check, nobody is there.

Jake hides behind the wall, pan across to Jake, looking at Stevie.

SCENE 3:

Stevie goes back inside the house, worried and walks up the stairs and into her room, slams door, puts music on (on laptop) and plugs in the headphones, using CU and MS.

CUT EDIT – back to Jake, who walks into Stevie’s house.

CUT EDIT – Stevie, jamming.

CUT EDIT – Jake walks up stairs, slowly.

CUT EDIT -   Stevie on Facebook/twitter.

CUT EDIT- Jake walks across the landing.

CUT EDIT- Stevie still on laptop (possible webcam shot.)

CUT EDIT- Jake, stood outside Stevie’s bedroom door, puts on gloves, opens door.

Long shot of Jake walking into the room, closing the door behind him, walks towards Stevie puts hand on her shoulder/ takes out a headphone.

New Story Board.

New Narrative.

Our new narrative idea and rolls include
Jake: Stalker.
Stevie: Victim.
Beca and I: Filming.

The opening sequence starts with a P.O.V/O.T.S shot of Jake looking at Stevie's house, cut edit to Stevie inside,  there are cut edits between Jake walking up to the house and into the house with Stevie going upstairs to her room and putting headphones on, Jake walks up the stairs and into Stevie's room. The last scene we are currently undecided, we wondered whether we could use a webcam on a laptop to film from. We start filming this Thursday. (17.11.11)

Week 9

After filming the majority of our opening sequence last Thursday we have realised that our opening sequence was too ambitious to portray on film, we took some good shots but the overall film was a let down. We are going to start again with a new, simpler idea. I am glad that we got to film our first idea and got to realise how it didn't work when we came to edit. We are not disheartened though as we already have a new narrative idea and are already producing a new shot list.
